Week 17

fullkeel

The non-moving magnifying glass.  That is what I get out of all this focus on concentration.  But there’s more.

A while back, while doing some research on solar energy, I stumbled across a youtube video where a young kid took an old satellite dish, glued about 5000 tiny mirrors to it, then aimed it at the sun so that it collected the suns rays and centered them to a point about 5 feet from the dish to a concentric spot about 1/2 inch in diameter.  The results were pretty ridiculous, as in impressive.  Hold a 2×4 at this spot of focus for anything longer than about a second, and it would burst into flames.  Hold a brick at the focal point, and in about 10 seconds it would start to explode.  Want to burn a hole in a paint can lid?  15 seconds.  Want to melt mud into glass?  25…

Week 16

Aloha nui Week 16:) Shout out to all our MKMMA peeps for focusing on and practicing aulike/kindness this week…give more, get more. Enjoy observing aulike that surrounds us everyday and in every way.

MKE Part 16, mahalo nui for dropping deep ‘ike/knowledge…upon what does wealth depend? upon an understanding of the creative nature of thought. its true value consists upon its exchange value and success depends upon spiritual power which this power depends on use; use determines its existence. how may we take our fate out of the hands of chance? by consciously realizing the conditions which we desire to see manifested in our lives. what then is the great business of life? THINKING; scientific correct thinking that is a recognition of the creative nature of spiritual energy and our ability to control it.

Week 15

Aloha mai:) Embracing Week 15 with aloha and paying attention to all of our amazing MKMMA daily habits…what we think about grows! Recently went to a birthday party for a dear friend. It was great to celebrate, connect and talk story with those ‘ohana haven’t seen in awhile. A couple of times observed (without judgement) a few conversations that would start to go negative. Felt wonderful to exude Aloha, express appreciation, and notice the conversation move in a positive direction. Love those chicken skin moments:)

Part 15 of MKE questions and answers #5 and #6 spoke volumes and confirmed the above mentioned…how are desirable conditions secured? by entertaining desirable thoughts only. Reading and sitting with Part 15 every day this week, mahalo piha/deeper appreciation for this gift of life! Am excited to have chosen and continue on the high way that my na’au shall go….to every man there openeth a way, and the high soul climbs the high way, and the low soul gropes the low; and in between on the misty flats, the rest drifts to and fro. but to every man there openeth a high way and a low and every man decideth the way his soul shall go.

MKE Week 15: A DMP is coming to life!

Eric's MKMMA Experience

It’s weird isn’t it.  Looking back at something and realizing you had already utilized the 4 steps to Persistency in order to bring a dream to life, and hadn’t even realized it.

This has, and continues, to happen to me.  You see, one of my goals on my DMP is to own a 2018 Harley Davidson on, or before, July 31, 2018.  At the time, I had no motorcycle license and my experience was limited.  I’ve had a couple bikes in my late teens and early twenty’s, but it’s been a very long time since I’ve owned or rode on a regular basis.  My parents take summer trips on their Harley and I’ve always wanted to do that.  I didn’t realize how much until I began the MKE.  I hadn’t really realized how much I just wanted to get on a bike…

Week 14 – Lōkahi

Aloha mai:) Concentrating on lōkahi/harmony all this week internally and externally has been refreshing! Particularly understanding the in-depth meaning via Hawaiian and Webster Dictionaries:

Lōkahi (Hawaiian Dictionary, noun stative verb): Unity, agreement, accord, union. ho’olokahi, to bring about harmony; to make peace and unity.

Harmony (Webster Dictionary, noun): 1. a combination of parts into proportionate/orderly whole. 2. agreement in feeling, action, ideas, being peaceable/friendly. 3. pleasing agreement of color, size, shape, etc. 4. agreeable sounds; music.

Master Keys Part 14 linking/friendly reminders, the universal energy is the source of all power, wisdom and intelligence. To recognize this intelligence is to acquaint yourself with the knowing quality of mind and through it to move upon the universal substance and bring into harmonious relations in your affairs. Thought is the only reality; conditions are but the outward manifestations; as the thought changes, all outward or material conditions much change in order to be in harmony with their creator, which is thought — clear cut, steady, fixed, definite, unchangeable. If you enter into the discipline necessary to bring about a radical change in your life, you must do so deliberately…this discipline, this change of thought, this mental attitude will not only bring you the material things which are necessary for your highest and best welfare, but will bring health and harmonious conditions generally. If you wish harmonious conditions in your life, you must develop an harmonious mental attitude. Your world without will be a reflection of your world within.

Sharing from ʻŌlelo No’eau (1083) Ho’okāhi wai o ka like. All the same; harmonious; in unityʻŌlelo No’eau (1166) I ho’okāhi ka umauma, ho’okāhi ke aloha. All united in harmony and love.

I promise to continue to develop an harmonious and grateful mental attitude!
